Buy them and enjoy. Because I am slightly hard of hearing and don't like wearing my hearing aids in the evening, these are fantastic. With the RS130 EVERYTHING has great clarity. I am not an audiophile (how many of you really are)., but these headphones will sound great to the average Joe. When my TV Ears headphones died after three years of use, I decided to try something with more fidelity. I was worried that I might miss the voice clarification feature of TV Ears, but it was no problem. Late night TV without disturbing my wife is terrific - and the fidelity, base response, clarity for movies and music fully meets my needs.
They are fantastic for watching television without disturbing entire household. After owning 3 brands of "cheap" wireless headphones I ask my self why I did not spend just a small amount more and get the best. No difficult tuning or annoying buzz or hiss.
The headset is setup great the shape and comfort are excellent. There is a little signal interference or noise but the sound quality makes up or it.
I could go into the next room and work on the computer with excellent reception and no interference. I would recommend them to all. I then found that I could still listen to the game on trash night when I took the trash cans out to the curb. The pop sound it made sounded like someone hitting the ear pieces with a spoon. The only thing I would suggest is that they add something like tabs or ears on either side of the volume control because when I lean back in the chair, the headrest bumps the knob and shuts the volume down.
The battery time was the pits and so was the reception. I then bought the RS 130 headphones and they were great. I also found I could get a snack in the kitchen with the same reception. Lastly, the battery life is the best. I had purchased a set of Sony wireless headphones and regretted it after a week.
After two weeks, I threw the damn things away. Not so with the Sony's.
They work great. I used to have some old Sennheisers R-40 but I broke them.
Unlike those AR's. I wish i had bought 2 pairs.
These new ones worried me with the auto tuner but I need not have, they do a good job. There is static some times, but its short lived and very tollerable.
I have owned a pair of these at work for maybe 3 years now. i have a pair of Accoustic Research at home, they are terrible.
Some friends at work still are not concinvced but they do not have a wireless alternative.
